ServicesDocument Delivery Service: Materials and information not available at the library can be accessed through the Document Delivery Service of the State Library of New South Wales.
You also have partnerships with TAFE Libraries and Charles Sturt University Libraries which we Public Access PC: A personal computer is available for use by library members. Bookings are essential. An extensive range of software packages is available for use with the PC. We provide access to a Flat Bed Scanner, and Colour Printer. IBM Compatible. Booking required. Small fee. Public Internet Access: Free Public Internet access is available at the library. This facility is available to members and visitors. (B & W Printouts 20c per page, Colour $2.00 per page). Prior booking recommended. Reservations: Borrowers have access to all lending material throughout the region. We will hold an item at your request and notify you when it is available. HSC Resources: Bogan Library has a large collection of HSC resources for students. These are included in our Reference Collection. Housebound Service: This service is available to local residents who are unable to visit the library due to health reasons. This service is not only for the elderly, anyone who is unable to visit the library short term or long term. Delivery of house bound's takes place each Wednesday morning. Bulk Loans: Bulk loans are available to aged homes, hospital and schools. Vision Disability Service: Staff select from a special collection of "Talking books" for those who cannot select for themselves due to vision disability. Children's Services: Storytime sessions - This is a programme for pre-schoolers and are conducted each alternate Tuesday mornings during the school terms, at 10.30am for children aged birth to school age. Activities can include story telling, music, craft and movement. Holiday Activities - Each school holidays the library holds children's activities, such as: games afternoons, craft sessions, internet trivia fun. Children's Book Week - is celebrated with visits from students from our schools as well as extra storytime sessions and craft activities. Simultaneous Storytime - Bogan Library participates in this national event each year. |
